Our club is made up of incredible volunteers who give of their time,
often at the expense of family time. One such volunteer, led our club through many improvements and milestones (including this website) as our
President from 2016-2019 –
Lynne Jooste.
Lynne, also my own daughters’ Coach, was constantly supported by her incredible husband, Joe, in both these roles. Sadly, Joe recently and suddenly passed.
As a sign of respect and support, to a family so important to our club,
we would like to ask all members to choose to participate
in wearing black armbands at our
Round 11 for Teams 1~4 – 31/7/21
Round 12 for Teams 5~11 – 6/8/21
Upon seeking Lynne’s blessing, she selflessly expressed her wishes
that each family may decide whether they will wear the armband or not,
as well as how they communicate to their young players
the reason that some club members will be wearing them.
Each Team Manager will place black tape on the right arm of participating members before the commencement of their game
(please arrive 30 minutes prior).
NetSetGo players may wear long sleeve white shirts under their dresses
(if wearing leggings, they must also be white).
We have the full support of WDNA.
