COVID-19 How to guide

To ALL MEMBERS!

As per the State Government announcement today, we can proceed with community training and sport, but with NO SPECTATORS, until Saturday 1 May 2021, 12:01am.

For this week, it means that we will revert to last years’ COVID Plan for TRAINING where Parents/carers are to refrain from attending.

 Our plan for the safe and smooth pickup of players, at the conclusion of training, is:

Junior School Courts

Coaches/Managers to escort players to St Mark’s Drive Kiss-N-drive – parents/carers to remain in vehicles.

Senior School Courts

Players to meet parents at Whitfords Ave Kiss-N-drive – parents/carers to remain in vehicles.

Coaches/Managers will do/ensure the following:

* wear masks
* Senior school players to wear masks, unless undertaking rigorous activity
* sanitise all balls before and after use (to remain with same 2 players – 5 balls per 10 players)

GAME 1 at Kingsway, on Friday evening will also be affected by this restriction and we will share updates provided by WDNA as and when we have them.

At this stage, Saturday games may resume without government restrictions, however, we will act on the advice and direction from WDNA and the City of Wanneroo.

Please keep checking our website for further updates ahead of your allocated training and game days, as you can appreciate, this is always an evolving situation.

It is now more urgent that we fulfil the requirements mandated by WDNA to provide COVID Officers – we currently have vacancies for time-slots:

Every Friday @ 5:15pm and 6:30pm
Every Saturday @ 11:30am
